Falling Away from Illusion

To expect a rose to be without thorns just because you wish to pluck it for your own personal pleasure is not a reasonable expectation.  All things have their opposite inherent within.  For every day, there is night.  For darkness, there is light.  Expectation in the absence of full understanding can set one up for huge disappointment in life.  Polarity exists in everything from gender to  behavior and beyond.  The way towards experiencing a life free of disappointment is to understand life to a much greater degree.

Disappointment means we have misunderstood the true nature of a thing or a person and even a situation.  Seek understanding first rather than to expect an outcome out of sync with a thing or a person’s true purpose not fully comprehended by you.  Consider seeking full understanding of a thing or a person before you design an expectation to begin with.  Then you will learn to deal with reality rather than illusion.  We create many illusions in this world and it only brings our own suffering.  We can be free of that suffering through patience, diligence, love and great understanding.  The choice is ultimately ours to make and no one has the power to bring our suffering more than our own choices through expectation alone.

Let me give you an example:  If you expect another soul to carry you financially or emotionally in this life but have not taken the time to learn the soul you intend to depend upon is neither capable of positive emotion nor adequate income, you will be greatly disappointed and it is not the other soul’s fault, it is yours for having a misplaced expectation.  If you expect the day to last forever because you are having a great time in the sun, you will be disappointed when the Earth turns away from the sun creating the night.  If you expect in life to never face hardships, tough times or sorrow as the only measure of your own personal success, you will be misleading yourself down a path filled with illusion that will almost always seem to catch you by surprise at the worst seeming moments.

So, consider, roses have thorns and do take care should you go to pluck one.  People and things must be and behave as they are and not as you require them to be, understand.  Day follows night and night follows day.  The pendulum swings and this world is always in motion.  If you are to set an expectation, ensure that capabilities are in existence to meet your expectations.  If you are wrong, you could be disappointed.  Seek understanding, self-actualization, self-accountability and the illusions will begin to fall away.

A Place of Peace

There is a place of peace within us.  It is not easy to find by the untrained mind and not even by a trained one except with the assistance of time.  In this place of peace, there is no desire nor regret, there is nothing you hold out above the rest in this world, all the sounds are beautiful sounds, all the souls are beautiful souls and all of your experiences are just beautiful experiences from which you choose to learn and grow.

When you find this place of peace, the ego does not rule and control you and in fact, has learned to become quite silent relenting to the dictates of the soul and the soul guided the ego there with patience, compassion and understanding.  There is this place of peace where all attacks are understood as egotistical psychodramas and so no injury is ever really issued forth.  There is this place of peace where anger is questioned but love is always accepted.  There is this place of peace that shines an infectious light out into the world and ignites a peaceful and loving flame in the hearts of all the souls it touches.  It's inspiration burns away the need to compete, to be right and to be better and it begins to comprehend truly the oneness of all that is.  It understands truly that when you hurt yourself with thoughts, all are hurt.  It understands truly that when love is given freely to self, all are loved and the rippling effects go on and on from heart to heart and soul to soul.

There is a place of peace beautiful dreamers and it is right inside the heart of you.  This truth may be buried in years of illusion that slows your thinking and makes you sleepy and sluggish to awaken to it.  But it does not change this truth.  You are the place of peace you seek and the more you get in touch with this space and feel your way to it over and over again, the more you will create and promote it out into this beautiful world.  It has before already been said, "Be the peace you wish to see."  Drink in the beauty of the sentiment behind those words rather than the superficial meaninglessness of the words themselves.  You are infinitely empowered to heal from the delusions of this dream and uncover the truth at every breath and step.  Above all else, you are truly loved.  If you wish to believe in anything in this dream, believe in that and embrace it wholly and fully in every second of every moment in every day of your life.  ~Blessings of peace beautiful dreamers.

One Illusion Dispelled

One of the biggest illusions in life is a belief that any person on the face of this Earth has the power to create emotion in you. Only you, dearest beautiful souls, have the power to create emotion in yourselves. Others may inspire emotion for good or ill but only you truly hold the power to bring emotion to life. This works in the positive and the negative -- if the person you are with is loving and seems to make you feel loved and loving - YOU have brought forth the emotion, the other person did not create it. They inspired you. Likewise, if someone you care about has insulted or criticized you and seems to make you feel hurt or angry - YOU have brought forth the emotion, the other person did not create it. We create emotion inspired by others only to the extent we truly believe in what they are putting forth for our consideration. Know yourself first and foremost and you can appreciate both positive and negative inspiration for what it is meant to teach you. Understand this and you will have dispelled one of life's greatest illusions. Oh, and when you do understand this concept - you will taste the sweetest freedom to be and learn to let others be. It is a natural result and it is beautiful beyond words. See the truth, know it when you see it and feel it with every breath that you take! ~Blessings.

Combined Wisdome of Two Great Works

The Celestine Prophecy, by James Redfield includes great detail on Control Dramas. The Control Dramas are four specific types of manipulations that wounded souls are engaged in to manipulate those around them for love.  The Control Dramas are summarized as:  The Intimidators - who steal energy from others by threatening them.  The Interrogators who steal energy by judging and questioning those around them. The Aloof people who manipulate those around them by manipulating them to attract attention (and energy) to themselves by acting reserved or withdrawing from those around them.  The Poor Me's who manipulate us by making us feel guilty and responsible for them.

If you seek to appease any soul in an active state of performing a control drama, you will learn nothing but
pain. Drawing from the wisdom of ACIM (A Course in Miracles) that touches on this same scenario but in the form of the illusion of the premise of attack in these souls and the illusions held by those on the receiving end, the goal for all involved is to transcend the control drama and stop manipulating others for energy and love. Giving love to all does not mean one offers one's self up as a human sacrifice. Giving love means: 1) you acknowledge the control drama comes from unhealed wounds within a person, 2) that you understand their manipulations and attacks have nothing to do with you at all and has to do with their attempt to transcend pain even through the creation of collateral damage (hurting you), 3) that you can forgive the harm they do to you as they are really only attempting to harm themselves (the attack upon you is an illusion - their premise is an illusion) and 4) that you rise above their battlefields where the blows cannot harm you and refuse to further engage in battle (forgive your brother/sister and forgive yourself...condemn them and condemn yourselves - e.g., counter attack).

Know your limitations, know what is happening in a control drama, know the value of love and forgiveness and know that you do not have to engage in battle. When you draw your sword and do battle with those in a state of an active control drama, you condemn yourself to remaining mired in the illusion.  When you forgive your brothers and sisters, you rise above the battlefield and forgive yourself and set yourself free.  It seems pretty simple but its darn hard to learn. Every soul is worthy of love and every soul is worthy of forgiveness...it's just that it takes a long time sometimes for folks to gain the awareness enough to see. ~Blessings of higher love and understanding dear ones.
