An Inadvertent Path Amidst a Dream

What a strange and interesting time this seems to be in our world.  I cannot begin to scratch the surface of all of the happenings of this world without wanting to brush it all away and dig right down deeply into the core of what seems to ail all of humanity.  It seems to me, at the heart of all of our woes lies this insidious subtle and often blatantly active fear.  Fear seems to be at the heart of everything going seemingly wrong today.  But what on Earth can we do?  Honestly, nothing.  As weird, heartless or oblivious as that may seem, there isn’t really anything to fix “out there.”

If we want to get to the heart of what ails humanity at this time, we need look no further than our own backyards. For there, we will find a rich universe from which we may draw our own conclusions about where we are, and why we are and what we might do with significant impact.  Translated simply – we can fix ourselves but we can’t really fix anyone or anything else.  I’ve written often before of the path of understanding as the mechanism through which we can at least learn to hold compassion for ourselves and compassion for each other no matter what state or place we find ourselves in.

We are plagued with this life-preserving ability to compare, contrast and quickly discern all that is seemingly bad around us.  It really does help us make decisions in a moment about what we should stick closer to and what we should move ourselves very far away from.  But, what if we judge wrongly even in our own perception at a time where any form of truth is truly obscured?  This would be the case in terms of undetected negative environmental psychology that truly dictates the bulk of our perception of our many experiences in this world.  I’m learning of late that there just is no way for us to transcend our psychology.  We cannot fix the core of who we are.  We just aren’t able and besides that, there isn’t anything to fix.  We can come to greater understanding of all that triggers us and if we can at least become aware of the fact that our thoughts, emotions and reactions in any given moment are just that –  triggers – what an amazing and monumental leap on our own personal journey does that bring us.  Better yet, diving into the deep and endless pool of those triggers to better understand, deeply love and infinitely appreciate our truest self is beyond amazing.

Our very lives these days are so interlaced with psychology, superficial understanding coupled with time honored traditions in human behavior that it is difficult at best to realize who is reacting versus who is intentionally responding to whatever it is they face in a moment.  Reaction and response may seem like two things of the same core motivational essence but that couldn’t be any more over-simplified.  I write much about this topic in so many different ways and in so many different perspectives.  Why?  Well, it is hard to discern the space we are reacting from in earnest.  In mindfulness we learn that our human nature is to think thoughts incessantly, ascribe emotions to those thoughts and that triggers us into reaction.  But, what if we truly could learn to allow all those thoughts and their associated emotions and just let them be without judging them or ascribing further insult to seeming injury?

Well, we can do that.  But, if you want to do that in order to release yourself from states of too much worry, too much pain and too much unhappiness, you really need to learn what mindfulness is and you need to be open to embracing higher understanding.  Again, translating simply – awareness through understanding is key to relieving you of all that mentally ails you.  This you can do if only you opened your mind, heart and soul to it.

But on the other side of this very complex coin of human existence, we have a very rich, seemingly unreachable aspect of our being…some call it Spirit or Soul, some consider it mind or consciousness.  The deeper aspects of our being begs greater understanding for there we can grasp the essence of the impetus for our manifestation in this frame, within this beautiful and endless seeming dream.  We are, at best, what we most chose to be and how we most wish to embrace it – whatever “it” is.  There is truly nothing to do to “fix” or save ourselves or each other from in life.  Life is as it is and it is only our lack of understanding that drives us to our territorial desire for the many and varied manifestations of suffering hidden by our own design.  When you understand you free yourselves a little and then a little more to move through this conscious dream awake and ever more aware.  So, we need not worry so much about the state of things.  It is better yet to remain ever curious, ever hopeful and ever compassionate with self and the whole of life.  Take heart this dream – your life – has purpose.  You matter.  This dream matters.  Take the lessons to heart and love yourselves even more deeply.  Blessings for higher love and greater understanding.

My Soul is from Elsewhere

My soul is from elsewhere, I'm sure of that, and I intend to end up there - Rumi

I ran across a quote by Rumi.  As with all his words, you can’t just quickly run past them.  You really have to sit with them a bit and reflect.  As I consider the words, “My soul is from elsewhere” alone, there is a strong resonance that echoes through not only my soul but the entirety of my spiritual consciousness.

I don’t believe we were created from nothing with a sudden appearance here on this Earth.  We’d have to come up with a much better and clearly defined understanding of consciousness in order for me to believe that.

I think that we always existed and even as we project our focus here in this dimension, there is still a part of us that remains part of that “Elsewhere” of which Rumi spoke.

Notice, maybe as I have, that he never said “return there” as if we had left and would some day return.  He said, “End up there.”  I think the concept of “End up there” is a little closer to the truth.  Perhaps we never left Elsewhere at all and everything we experience here is this massive, amazing and wonderful dream just for the delicious beauty of the experience of it.

No one can say with certainty but I think it’s a nice thought for now.  Beliefs are not entirely useless.  I guess their usefulness depends on what you allow them to motivate you to do.  If your belief keeps you happy, smiling, kind and supportive of all life here on planet Earth, then I’d have to say your belief would not be a bad thing in my book.  If your belief stirs up chaos and strife or intentionally harms life on this planet, I’d have to reflect very hard to be understanding of such beliefs.  I could do it but I may not like it.

It’s a funny world we seemingly live in but to me it is more than a pleasant thought to consider my soul comes from Elsewhere and one day I intend to end up there.  I don’t think I ever left there and I don’t think anyone else did either.  I can’t prove it but neither can you definitively disprove it.  That is the beauty of this intricately woven and matrixed experience called life.

So, let us go about our lives then regardless of potential origins or conscious residence.  Perhaps we should just live our lives to the fullest no matter our beliefs or the beliefs of anyone else. Respect all, love all and hold compassion for all.  Maybe we simply continue to move towards that which stirs us in a beautifully resonating fashion for therein lies our true strength and authenticity.

Breaking the Veil of Illusion

Interesting it is how labels and accusations are so carelessly strewn about by some against others without understanding the truth.  You see, your observations can only ever be filtered through your own biases, experience and other psychological filters. These observations form a perception of a thing or a person, and your perception, no matter how much you think is the definitive truth, is nothing but what you want to believe projected outward from within.  This is done commonly and frequently with little understanding in the absence of understanding these projections upon others in the form of labels and names. The labels created are not really representative of "the other" that is the object of your observation but is rather more descriptive of something much more familiar to you.  Namely, what things lay hidden deep within you that you unknowingly project outward onto "the other."  The question those labelled often think in desperation is, "Why"?  Why would this person or that person label me in such a hurtful way? Conversely, people can label you in what you think is a helpful way and still they are no closer to the truth of you.  No person outside of you can truthfully determine your greatness or inadequacies properly without understanding the paradigm of The Whole.  And I'll tell you, there are few who truly understand the paradigm of The Whole.

Imagine, if you will, the internet of all things.  There are those who study it as if it is an organism in and of itself.  It may be a confusing concept, but come along with me a moment as it might help you better understand one of the many metaphors of our existence here in this frame in the way we project ourselves.  So, across the entirety of the globe (well in most places it seems these days), there are computer servers that are connected one to another through a vast physical network that creates the world wide web.  The world wide web is a mass connectivity vehicle for our ability to "tune in" to others in the physical world.  Now, each individual with a lap top, computer or smart phone taps into that source to connect and most definitely, individually project themselves into the whole of the world wide web.  We are not the world wide web but the computers we use are a part of it by virtue of an internet connection.  Does that make sense at least at a high-level?  Okay, so stick with me another moment and I'll take you down a curve in the road to a much broader application of this concept which is not new at all but very old and understood by the Ancients, the Mystery Schools and even some great religious/spiritual teachers dating much further back than our history documents.  There is a cosmic consciousness, a single Source that was the impetus for creation.  We each are like a tiny thought emanating outward from that Source but always and ever connected to that Source.  Through acknowledging connectivity with that Source we realize the connectivity we all hold similarly with each other.  In this way, we are all one in that we are all the same thing in a way, thoughts projected from a Source.  Now, this Source is infinitely powerful and creative and as you know from your own mind, your thoughts come from within you and once you create them, you send them "out there" and they become a thing unto themselves...energy, magnetic, emotion producing things we don't understand deeply enough.  We are very much like those individual computers that plug into the world wide web.  The thing is, we are never not connected to our Source and need nothing physical to connect to it other than understanding.  As we connect to Source, we too are connected to each other.

Coming back to labels now for a moment, as well as observations. If you observe with your thoughts another part of the connected Whole and ascribe labels to other parts of the Whole, in a way you are labeling yourself.  What you perceive is not necessarily the truth and doesn't necessarily stand up to the rigor of testing because your perception can be skewed by assumption taken as fact or truth when there is not a single thing underpinning solidly the formation of your assumption or perception.  But, because it seems to come from inside of your own head and maybe those thoughts generate some emotion or conviction behind it, it seems real enough and true enough. Given the limited set of facts within which most live and consciously operate, there is no reason to question the validity of your own assumptions, observations or perceptions.  Truth, however, cannot be readily understood without facts and understanding.  For ages people believed the world was flat and you could sail right off of the edge into oblivion.  That was the common perception and agreement at a certain point in our history.  That is, until some brave souls sought the truth beyond belief and sailed to the edge of the horizon and learned that the Earth was not limited in nature by being a flat 2 dimensional organism but in fact, it went on and on and around.  These souls came back and shared their truth in the form of findings and then it became readily acceptable that the world was, in fact, round.  Then there was the idea that the sun and the planets revolved around the Earth.  This was held as the only truth in the absence of facts.  Even when the facts began to surface, they were outright rejected and labelled blasphemous in fear due to many factors but primarily a complete lack in understanding.  But then, times progressed, scientific study progressed and new understanding dawned.  We learned that the Earth revolves around the sun, and the sun is just the center of one universe and that there were more universes with suns spiraling through space by some impetus and force (Source, if you ask me).  We then learned to go deeper within and study matter, energy and force and the things we took for granted or falsely held as belief were disproved by science. New windows and doors to the mind were flung open wide with new data and new horizons to explore and discover.

Now, considering all of this, what if I were to tell you that what we perceive as real here, is still just an observation based on the limited or incomplete "facts" we hold as our beliefs about reality and what reality is?  There is so much more than what meets the eye.  There is a world of consciousness we are not yet conscious of and the energy in the universe is connected and connected by the same Source that created all of it.  That means we are all an integral and important part of the Source, a collective of existence with individualized points of focus in an agreed upon reality.  The illusion of reality (life) as we perceive it is called Maya by the Hindus. (Check out the Rigveda for more understanding of the meaning of Maya).  Life as we know it is a grand illusion and to a great extent we are all delusional in our thoughts that what we see is real or that what we see, assume and perceive is representative of the truth of a thing or a person, is the truth.  If you look back at all the explorations into the various aspects of life, existence and conscious understanding, you will see that the truth is not easy to discern by relying on our projected senses, our projected ideals, our projected morals and representations of belief we hold as truth.  Our beliefs dissolve in the light of understanding.  Why?  Because we are growing and beginning to leave behind us the time of small-minded thinking.  Some of the Whole is aware of its delusion and thus seeks the freedom from it through understanding.  Some of the Whole is unaware of its delusions and strive all the harder for the security of making their worlds more than real without understanding how that undermines their own limited perceptions of and about existence.

Coming full circle, realize that to perceive or label a thing does not define its truth.  There is only one truth upon which we can rely and that truth cannot be defined by me for you.  You must learn to understand the truth for yourselves.  However, you will not find the truth of you in labeling your brothers and sisters who walk this Earth with you.  In either positive or negative labeling, by raising others up higher than you or lowering them beneath you, you actually cage yourself in a prison of your own mind.  The All is Mind, the Universe is Mental (Hermetic principal from the Kybalion).  This "physical life" is a construct of our making, collectively creating as we have been created.  Sometimes trying to wrap your physical and limited mind around this concept makes you feel "mental" in a whole different way.

However, through patience, perseverance, allowing resonance, congruence, love, forgiveness, gratitude and an intent to understand, you can free your mind, body and soul from limited thoughts and embrace the whole of existence in a more liberating manner. The truth then is much better understood and the lesser acts of limited labeling or trapping yourselves in the veil of the ego would seem entirely insane.  Our assumptions and the need to label to begin with comes from illusion. The illusion of whatever it is the ego wants only seems real but it isn't.  The ego cannot tell the difference between a fact or an assumption and will line up emotions with either.  But, there is a deeper knowing part of your being whether you are in touch with it or not (your spirit) and it is the only thing that can guide you to the truth.  The truth is more intuitively felt than understood with limited human words.  We are by far above the limits of labeling even if we sometimes refuse to act like it.  Attempting to become greater at the expense of another (which is a colossal illusion with quite fleeting benefits for the greedy ego) is meaningless and doesn't support you or secure your stature in a meaningful way that is everlasting.

If you tire of the victim-villain struggle for power, the only way to freedom is to understand you can't know what you don't know, so go and seek to understand the truth.  Learn that what you give out to this world becomes you.  Question the beliefs you assume or hold as truth.  Offer this world forgiveness and love, offer this world peace and understanding and refuse to play into old programs that don't seem to get you anywhere. You end up chasing your tail for an ego feed that will never truly fulfill your deepest needs.  Your deepest need is understanding, to belong (and you belong to a very big Oneness in Source alone) and for love.  You are love.  Let that come to your mind first before labels, before negative self or other judgments.  Seek understanding and it will come and if you embrace it, you will be free.

Learning to Listen

In our day-to-day, we seemingly go through the motions engaged in many things we think are so important.  We become mired in the egotistical dramas and plays projected onto our field of existence by ourselves and by others.  We participate without thinking either on the offense or in defense as each situation may call us to do and while we do it, in our strategizing and striving we’re forgetting something important… the still small voice.

There is more to the “still small voice,” our thoughts and our actions than achieving some goal that either we create or is created by others for us to aspire to.  There are multiple levels and layers of consciousness that we remain mostly unaware of as we live our lives each day.  Our minds hold our consciousness, our bodies hold a level of consciousness, our souls hold a consciousness and our spirits hold a consciousness.  Each of these levels represent the concept of the still small voice and each aspect of consciousness speaks in it’s own language.  If we do not learn how to listen, we may encounter some uncomfortable or otherwise dire results in our efforts.

Each of the levels of consciousness that I ascribe to the “still small voice” as I’ve described comprise a highly collaborative system of being or existence, if you will.  The mind thinks and sets forth an energy pattern that influences our actions based on our assumptions and perceptions.  The body’s consciousness in collaborative harmony with the mind’s consciousness will manifest through physical and sometimes emotional feeling.  The soul’s consciousness is beyond the consciousness of the day to day but it can be felt through true and pure emotion that is not egotistically based in any way, shape or form.  The spirit’s consciousness is much more global and also uses a language of energy that influence not only the being that it is part of a person but everyone and everything around the being or person.

Each of these levels of consciousness is always in constant collaboration with the other, constantly communicating messages back and forth and creating through this collaboration, our experiences here in life.  If we cannot hear what the deeper messages are for us, we may end up sick, stressed out, ulcers, cancer or other things we really don’t care to deal with or walking into untenable situations for us.  Now having said that, I cannot discount that each soul has set itself up with a specific series of experiences from which to learn in this life.  If one wishes to learn from the cancer experience, it is not wrong thought or ignoring messages that creates the cancer.  It is just the being wished to create an experience for itself and through learning to listen, one can come to greater and more peaceful learning from the experience.  Speaking from experience, in my own case I chose a series of lessons of involvement with certain types of interactions unconsciously from the conscious mind’s perspective.  There was an experience I wished to have I was completely unconscious of but once I learned the languages, the other ways in which consciousness spoke, I started to grasp the lessons before me much more quickly and much less painfully, I might add.

Let me give you a more specific example.  Let’s say someone is told their whole life by others that they must achieve a certain position or possessions in order to be recognized or loved.  A person who engages in those endeavors may achieve the results and yet find stress and anxiety or insomnia has taken hold.  In this kind of example, what you have is the body’s consciousness speaking and know that it does not speak alone.  While consciously one may be unaware of the other consciousness aspects speaking, the body or the mind can start to experience messages solely intended to get one’s attention.  If you can see or feel the message, you can give yourself pause to say, “Hmmm, if I am achieving all I set out to do with this goal or that aspiration, why am I not happy, sleeping or enjoying life?  That is the intent of the message of body manifesting messages through mental challenges such as anxiety or depression and other possibly physical symptoms as well.

When you learn how to listen to the whole of the “still-small-voice,” you can avoid some of the negatives or even if you experience the negatives (which are a normal part of existence), you can learn to deal with them more effectively.  You can deal with them more effectively by becoming more conscious of your own internal messaging system.  If your behavior is incongruent with the truest desires of your spirit or soul, they’ll begin to speak until they find a way for you to consciously understand (Now do you understand life’s repeating lessons?).  In this way, you will never allow yourself to truly let yourself down no matter what it is that you face.  You have an amazing consciousness system that communicates with you all the time about your environment, energy, people and situations and not just from the limited ego-judgmental perspective.  That is only one small form of the conscious communication system.  What you want is to understand the communication of the “still small voice” so that you can learn to respond to what you face (stay in your own light or power) rather than reacting to it (not staying in your own light or power).  When the egoic mind alone is in charge disregarding all other parts of the consciousness communications going on, you are forever reacting, taxing your energy and biological systems, becoming more mired in the illusions of perceptions and assumptions and can lead yourself down some pretty dark and treacherous roads.

Through learning how to listen to all aspects of the consciousness communication systems that are part of who you are, you will always make it back home to peace, bliss, joy, serenity, understanding and compassion.  One of the greatest ways to learn how to listen is to understand when you are clearly not listening.  If you are reacting, tired, stressed, sick, etc., it’s possible you are not really listening to the guidance so readily available to you that can help you understand and cope.  Another fantastic way to learn how to listen is meditating.  Taking up a practice every day of stopping all thought, learning to listen for the “still small voice” and even asking your higher consciousness systems to speak more meaningfully or obviously to you, you will start to understand the language.  It takes time, patience and willingness to benefit from the communications.  The reality is that whether you consciously learn to listen or not, the system itself will still find a way to get you the message.  The difference is a matter of control and the only thing you truly have the power to control is you.

I suggest that you take the time to fully understand how it is that you communicate with you.  All the wonder and magic that is YOU, will never let you down.  Mind your thoughts, stay open to learning to understand the language of the various consciousness systems through intent and then begin the noticing, the timing and the many ways in which you naturally and always speak to yourself and guide yourself in a positive light.  Remember, when it is the egoic consciousness involved, you are reacting.  When it is the other consciousness or higher consciousness involved, you are self and other-compassionate and more understanding and open…and thus, much more willing to hear the “voice” within.  Listen.  You truly have so much to say to you and you are worth listening to.  ~Blessings.

Soul Tree

I had occasion to speak with my guardian angel not long ago.  Usually, I go visit him Elsewhere but this time, he came to visit me.  That was different.  So, it went something like this:

Me:  Deep in meditation just almost to that point I could escape my body...One more deep breath as I was about to let go and I stopped.  I felt an energy approach and so listened more acutely (eyes still closed).  My guardian angel had appeared accompanied by a few others right there in my bedroom.  I was shocked but smiled as I had not seen him on Earth before (at least not that I am aware of).  When I finally gained my senses, I spoke, "Fancy meeting you here.  Why are you here, I was just coming to see you."

"Well, just as you sometimes appreciate a change in venue, so do I," Aaron said with a smile.

"Of course, how silly of me I," I said with a giggle.  "I'm glad you are here.  I was just thinking about something and I wondered what thoughts you might be able to share with me on a certain topic."

"If I can, you know I will.  If I can't, I will give you some puzzling evasive answer you'll have to discern for yourself,
" He said with a smile.

"Okay, the question is this:  If we are perfect exactly as we are and our souls are all seeing and all knowing, then why on Earth are we here on Earth at all?  If we were truly all knowing, all seeing and there is no time with our souls...if a piece of our souls remains always and ever connected to Source which is the truth, the only truth, why would we ever need to experience life here in a very restrictive and dense body, with dense consciousness bound by gravity so dense we can hardly move?"

"Well, that's quite a question you've got there and one I don't think I'll have to go immediately for the evasive to fend you off and spin you thinking into yourself.  That one I think I can answer for you.  Consider life as a human child for a moment, you fix a scene in your mind, gather your friends to you and you play house, or hospital or school.  You know it isn't really real but you pretend for a while for the fun and experience of it. Children are such naturals at this because they know that life is just pretend.  In terms of the multiple connections and dimensions you referenced in your own way, everything is in different levels - you are not limited to a single incarnation, time or are you limited by linear time sequences.  Past lives only seem like past lives.  Your consciousness moves where ever its focus needs to be and is not limited by time or space.  What you call experiences are actually the fringe elements of your soul...your soul is your higher guide, your essence and the culmination of all of your experiences but your memories lie on the very edges of focus.  You cannot recall them all at once as you actually represent only one branch of a tree, if you will.  All of the branches of a tree are on the tree but each has a different experience.  Some branches are in the shade, some are reaching for the sun, some twist and turn into each other, some bear blossoms and fruit while some bare nothing at all...but all are part of the tree.  The tree's consciousness is aware of what happens at the level of the wholeness of it's being but the branches are the feelers that reach out with purpose and then they do what branches do.  If a branch really put effort into it and became aware of itself, it could aspire to become aware of its beingness in relation to the other branches, it could also become aware of the trunk, the roots, the rings, the air, the ground it is connected to and the environment it is interconnected to and dependent upon.  Does the picture start to become a little more clear," He asked.

"I suppose so and I get what you're saying.  We all stem from the tree - the tree being our soul...the environment is the space we exist within and the root system is the ether through which we tap into the Oneness of Source and the environment that supports us and Source.  But, the framework continues to grow from this very gross oversimplification for my limited understanding, doesn't it," I asked rhetorically.

"You are feeling more of the truth right now than you can find the words to express and this frustrates you.  I can see the colors around you shifting wild now between emerald green and amber from their normal blue and violet.  Am I right," Aaron asked.

"You know you are but I cannot articulate a single word just now.  Did you come just to riddle me into oblivion with metaphors or was their another reason that you came," I asked.

"You were doing something when I arrived that actually called us to you.  You were facing emotions as if you let loose the floodgates of a dammed up overdue body of water ready to flow.  But you were completely peaceful and were just watching the emotions and they all started to surface and yet you never flinched emotionally speaking.  You let them rise to the surface without attachment realizing a part of you understands everything even if the you that was in that moment experiencing could not see the whole.  You became an aware part of the tree, and that is what called us to you...smiling and so very happy for you.  We came to encourage you and to let you know we are here,"
Aaron said.

"Thank you dearest angel and your friends I can see but do not yet know.  I assume at some point they will materialize more clearly so that I can see them better...either that or I shall learn to open my vision to their vibration perhaps," I said feeling so happy.

Soul Friends

You are changed forever, the moment you let someone inside of your soul.  There are those people in life who can move through our defenses as if they never existed because they come forth with not one ounce of pretense.  We meet such individuals soul to soul, heart to heart, and spirit to spirit.  They can see you, all the way through to the deepest part of you and you find a place where you are completely unafraid.  In human terms, it is very difficult to stand in such a presence because this world is not set up to behold that much beauty so routinely.  Oh, it could if we all could advance a bit more and reach up to it but we can't always do that.

There are special souls in life that will cross our paths from time to time for so very many reasons but these special souls will know you almost better than you know yourself.  It is very natural to want to hold them right where they stand, melting you with that knowing soulful look in their eyes and that beautiful loving charm in their smile but this, sadly, is not always the right thing to do.  In fact, you may often find that such souls were never intended to be with you for the whole of your life in this incarnation but rather for a moment in time just to reach deep into the heart of your soul and show you not only who you are but the loving soul you were intended to be.

Woe is the day that you must part as your soul may feel that it might just ache for an eternity in their physical absence.  However, these very special soul friends will always remain connected to you through the universal love of the all of everything and ultimately, you will let them go when the time comes and for the right reasons and because you want nothing more than to witness the beauty of their freedom in motion.

I'm so very blessed to say I've met such a soul and though my heart, at times, aches so deeply I fear I will never breathe again, I do..breathe...deeply, slowly and remember the words, the visions, the meanings conveyed with little to nothing in the physical world that mattered.  Everything that really mattered was exchanged through a soul baring love nothing in this world can touch.  And so, even though parting is truly sweet sorrow, I am better for the experience of meeting that one soul who changed my life forever.  Forever and ever I will wish this one soul who walks this earth nothing but pure love, pure joy and pure happiness for an eternity.  And now, now, well, there are promises that I have made and must keep. There are things I must think through and work through.  From time to time as I gaze up at the stars on a dark night, I'll see his face and I'll send smiles of gratitude and love.

Should you ever in this lifetime behold such a soul, consider yourself blessed and know also that you have been initiated truly into the mysteries of your life. The days, weeks and months that unfold from that beautiful moment forward will hold much  promise for you in terms of your remembrance of who you really are.  And, that, my dear gentle souls is what soul friends are for...to bring you that perfectly timed message from home, confirmation of love and true understanding.  Your journey's are already blessed and will be all the more by precious soul friends who come and share pure love and light with you for a time.  ~Blessings of great love, wisdom and the highest understanding.

Tools At Your Disposal

Sipping hot coffee in the coolness of morning gently begins to awaken my senses.  It was just hours ago I sat in this very same spot, looking up at the sky just like now.  I was watching the stars when I caught a glimpse of a tiny satellite moving across the night sky.  I then felt like that tiny satellite moving through space and time among the stars but not of them, looking similar but so very different and then I wondered what it was like orbiting way up there.  A cool breeze blows and begins to dissipate this heavy feeling in my soul.  There are just those times in life we must feel our way through things and situations instead of using only the limited tool of thinking.  Unfortunately, the ego can often render the “thinking” tool wholly ineffective.   If we become too emotional in our thoughts and those thoughts begin to generate stronger emotions, we cut ourselves off from two other very important tools that really help us understand people and events in this world.  Aside from thoughts and emotion, the soul and spirit are also speaking and listening with every interaction with anyone and anything in this life.  When we take in information with the mind only and are caught up in our own emotions, we’re only getting half the story at best and missing key things at worst!

We’re not taught these things as we grow.  We’ll notice at times when we feel strangely at odds with a person or situation.  When what you are sensing with the spirit and soul (which you are all the time whether you are aware or not) and you are feeling at odds with what the body and mind are picking up on or even have the mind and the body at odds with its sensing, you’re in trouble from the perspective of getting to the truth of whatever it is you may be facing.  The only answer really is to get very quiet, stop all input and just breathe feeling your way through it and noticing the images, the feelings and the knowings that come to you while you create the stillness.  It sometimes takes quite a long time to derive the truth and be certain that you’ve found it and it isn’t enough to think you’ve found it.  You have to test all of your assumptions and determine which ones are certain versus those simply born of fear and worry.  Those two things can be deadly to a soul because we think we can trust the thoughts inside of our own heads.  You can eventually trust the thoughts inside of your head but only when you’ve spent enough time to truly know yourself and understand what is you versus what is the ego-control system taking over your thoughts.

The ego isn’t bad or wrong.  I’ve written about this so many times.  The ego has it’s purpose; an inherent challenge within us all.  But it doesn’t always know the truth about you or any other individual or thing on this planet.  You see the ego, all by itself, cannot comprehend the other languages and derive the truth on its own.  That is beyond it’s capability.  The ego questions, compares, judges and persecutes you and others over and over again until you get tired of its ridiculous rantings and tell it quite frankly, to shut up.  The soul can speak and understand so much more that the ego.  Realize within you lies an entire arsenal of tools to help you take in and process information in this place.  You just have to know which tool has been engaged.  Sometimes these tools become unwittingly engaged in reaction.

The first up on deck will always be the fearful, worrisome ego.  If the ego fails us, then the body begins to speak with either malaise of some kind, anxiety or even specific body systems being triggered for pain or illness.  If that system fails to get your attention, the soul kicks in and drives deeper urgings you may not understand but your visions and dreams may begin to speak to you.  If this system fails to catch your attention, the spirit steps in and urges you to seek out (if even unknowingly) people and situations that will help you exorcise your “demons” so-to-speak.  It’s a beautiful system.  But if you don’t understand how the different system’s alarms go off, you may become reactionary and that’s a bit of a negative space.

So, you live inside a body with a mind, and emotional system, soul and spirit.  You have all kinds of tools at your disposal to take in and process information and experiences in this life.  You can move along as if floating merrily down the stream of life or you can seek to understand the currents, the tides and the various bends in the stream and even where it will let you out at – perhaps a vast and beautiful ocean underneath a pink sky with a golden sun that fills you with love and light.  Who knows where you’ll go but the vehicle and its design is perfect and the things you face in life are also perfect.  Become aware, very aware of everything within you and around you and smile knowing what a miracle you are in this miraculous and amazing place.  ~Blessings of love and infinite light dearest souls.
