A Deadly Belief

One of the deadliest beliefs for the human psyche to hold is, “I’m not good enough.”

Now this particular belief is so very complex that likely the majority of those who hold it are not even aware that they hold it. The belief has become like an insidious form of malware hidden deep within the operating system of our consciousness.

I’m Not Good Enough!

This belief is interesting in that originally it was given us by the outside world in some way. In part we agreed to it based on the evidence our perception was convinced was real. But it wasn’t real. The sad part is when this deadly agreement was formed between the outside world’s insistence and the internalized doubt of a fragile consciousness, it ended up rooted deeply within the psyche and began to shape our view of ourselves, direct our perceptions, assumptions and ultimately our actions.

You won’t necessarily know that you hold such an unconscious belief until you learn to spot the signs of its existence in your life. Those signs can be many and varied. From something as simple as tolerating bad behavior, abuse of any kind or routinely running into people who verbalize or in some way show us we are unworthy to becoming co-dependent or a people pleaser in defense.

Is it true? How do you know?

It’s a challenging life lesson to be sure but there is hope and there is help! We can learn to identify hidden beliefs by becoming very curious about what upsets us, what triggers us into codependency or people pleasing, looking at the fears we hold and our reaction to life all around us. When we realize the feelings rising within us are in part messages from somewhere within us that rejects this hidden belief, that is when the fun of eliminating the belief begins.

We can take these kinds of beliefs apart but we have to be courageous, we have to be strong and we have to fearlessly embrace all that seemingly frightens us deep within the inner cores of our beings. Some of us can’t do this on our own and need trained assistance to get there. So do whatever it takes to get there because when you do, when you’ve learned to heed the call of your inner being, you set yourself free from the frame of an ideal formed based on a false belief that never really had anything to do with you.

Get Yourself Free From That Frame!

When we find the hidden beliefs within and seek to understand them, we then can decide which ones we wish to continue learning from and which ones we don’t. When you begin to toss away the deadly belief of “I’m not good enough,” your life will change for the better. It’s not an over-night assignment from which to learn. It takes time and patience as well as a true willingness to work at it.

I have met so many souls who carry this hidden belief within them that it breaks my heart. I can see it because I too used to hold that belief and I held it until it nearly broke me. But when my world seemed to begin to break apart, I found the belief trying to get my attention all along. When I understood its source and found forgiveness and gratitude for the opportunity to learn the lesson, I was free. The rest of the surrounding lessons then become concerned with habit breaking and that is easy (says the former smoker).

Clearer Internal Vision Improves Your life. You Are Worth It!

You must understand how amazing you truly are and you will when you find each of those things that fogs your vision and prevents you from feeling the truth. You deserve the truth, to see it, to touch it and to feel it. The mind can play tricks on you but that deep inner knowing will not. It will just continue to try to get your attention by bringing you people and situations that attract you to the most painful parts of that hidden belief until you find it, learn from it, understand it and then let it go. There won’t be any parties, trophies or awards when you let go. But you’ll be paid in something worth much, much more than any of those things – self love and self-respect. Is it worth it to try? For me, the answer was definitively YES!

Just some food for thought! Be amazing! You are that!

Mastering Unexpected Stillness

Sometimes at various points in our lives, our sources of divine inspiration can seem to be cut off, antagonists appear to challenge your existence and every thing you think or feel seems out of place.  These are very normal parts of existence and the truth is, we create these breaks as a means to pause and consider the lessons learned.  The universe, in its infinite wisdom, will clear your path in unexpected and sometimes ungentle ways in order to give you what it is you really need and that may be a time of complete silence and stillness.  It is during such moments that the myriad thoughts, emotions and lessons coalesce into concrete concepts from which you may gain a measure of wisdom.

Now, during such times you can decide to throw pitiful thought barriers onto your own path, you can allow yourself to feel like a victim, like "I'm all alone in the world" or wonder what is wrong with you but such thoughts are never the path to the truth.  Always are you surrounded, guided and assisted but sometimes that may be ethereally only and until you learn how to see, hear and understand with your otherworldly senses (which is part of the seeming desolation), it can feel quite uncomfortable.  Don't give in to feelings of despair as that only prolongs the agony and gives you so much more to work on.  Although it may be difficult, don't give into any feelings of desperation or depression either as these are choices we can sometimes feel inclined to make in the quiet times when the mind is processing all it has come to know.

Healing comes in the quiet stillness when nothing seems to be in motion and no words are seemingly spoken.  In such moments we are free to create from the wisdom we are, in fact, attaining.  It just takes a little patience, lots of calm confidence and assurance of your own ability to walk though periods of silence and know you will reach the other side of the seeming chasm of shadow.  Shadows don't always hold smoky specters and apparitions.  They also hold the stuff of our dreams as the truth is, it matters not where we are but what we think, believe and put emotion and energy into.  If you stand in a stark time and your dark thoughts arise and you embrace them as truth, you may encounter a very long and lonely walk for a time.  However, if you stand tall knowing your own light will serve to guide you through those seeming times of shadow, you'll realize this is just a time created by you to take a break from all of those things that came before.  We create what we most need in any particular moment in time.  I look back now at some of my own, very beautiful creations.  I have found everything I have ever searched for.  Thankfully, I held love enough deep inside of me to hold that which required holding and to gently let go of that which must always be free to fly. ~sigh~

Okay, enough of my morning rambling.  Time to gear up and get this day started with hope, faith and pure knowledge of love, light and my ability to master it - you hold these things too - go within and find them.  ~Blessings of love and light.

Illusion of Fear (Repost)

In your creation of walls around your heart, you have already succumbed to fear.  In such a state, you are cut off from true love and can only identify with egotistical love.  You can exist there as long as you want.  You can also free yourself.  Love is the way there.  At times it becomes so easy for us to engage in battle and become warriors for what we think is right, but in so doing we can become so mired in a war we’ve lost before it even begins.  When you can stand back and truly see every soul for who they really are, understand and come to a place of compassion rather than resentment, frustration or hatred, you will free yourself to love not only you but everything in every kingdom – human, plant, animal, celestial and ethereal.

Egotistical love is not real.  It is an illusion.  It is created by the ego to allow only a privileged few to rise to a state where you will love them.  That love is conditional.  I hear so many say that unconditional love is not possible in this frame.  That too is an illusion.  Unconditional is not only possible but is the only truth we have to work with.  We just fail to see it until we learn to understand the language.  Everything we see, hear, feel and come to know has an associated language.  Look at your home – everything there can be translated to a language spelled out with geometry…look at the interactions little planet Earth has with time and all of the celestial bodies-everything there can be translated with the language of mathematics…look at your interactions with all of the kingdoms…human, plant, animal and more…there you come to learn other languages and get your first taste of the language of love…that is, if you are looking and are not overly caught up with the ego and the illusions we must contend with in this world.  These languages have always been there but we just do not notice them and so they do not register or resonate in our consciousness.

When we learn to hear and feel the languages and like radio receivers begin to pick up the signals, the illusions that surround us start to shake us up  a bit and the more we tune in, the more everything begins to fall away.  You begin to discern what matters and what doesn’t and your choices not only begin to alter your own life but the lives of everyone on the planet.  When you fall onto the wrong side of pain and embrace the victor/victim play, you will be trapped and the scenario will repeat as your focus on your victim state calls out to the universe with that vibration and you will find you actually call that to you more.  When you can find some way to step out of that play and see instead actions/consequences, the illusion starts to come apart.  When you find a way to take that a step closer and begin to see the world and all of its inhabitants in a new light, and begin to understand the language of love, your mind will simply be blown with all that has been right there in front of you the whole time.  Love masters the all of everything.  Fear takes it all away.  We have free will and can exercise it.  There really is no wrong or right in this method of learning…there is just the experiences in this life for you to uniquely have and learn to interpret.

There is so much to digest in letting your mind escape far beyond the limits and confines that is all you know and were taught growing up in this world.  We are not as limited as we think and to truly understand what that means, you must find the beautiful light and love filled stream that flows freely within you.  When you touch it, it is light, sweet and so powerful that it can not only change you but send beautiful ripples out into the world that touch others and create conditions for them to be more open to going in and finding it.  Love is the question and the answer.  We are Love = Love is One = We are One!

Free Will, Integrity and Love

Oh my the things the last few days have revealed to me.  The amazing clouds of late disappeared yesterday into a clear sea of cerulean blue and the sun was so amazing in the sky.  I can't remember a time it has seemed so bright.  I can't help but wonder if our vision changes when the fog of misunderstanding is lifted from our souls.  Life is a great mystery slowly revealed over time to those who observe, listen and open up to love and learning.  I have been ignorant of many things for far too long.  I have to catch myself with such thoughts because the truth is, no time spent here incarnate is ever truly wasted.  When we learn, we free ourselves to live life differently.  The whole of my life has existed on one misguided premise, one that lurked below the surface of my normal consciousness but guided my every thought and action.  I felt it beneath the surface pulling at me in every single interaction I've ever had and I wondered about it often.  I pulled it out into the light of day and I began to understand just exactly what it was, why it was born and why it compelled me often into action.

All of my life I have existed in some way or another to remove pain from my existence and the existence of those around me.  I came here thinking there had to be a better way to shape a soul than pain.  While that is true, there is a better way to learn, a soul sometimes creates pain for its own purposes.  To take that away from someone robs them of a very valuable experience.  Every emotion is worthy of the time spent with it.  The lesson is to understand it, why it was created and how it can be placed in proper perspective for highest learning and growth.  Some feel absolutely compelled to rescue other souls and they do so without thinking of the consequences of their actions and how it interfere's with free will.  Rescue seems noble and I suppose in some cases it is but when you begin to understand the construct and framework of this place, you start to realize that rescue is not always needed.  Some like the experience of selfless service to others and that's a beautiful thing.  But, if a soul never learns to rescue him or herself, he or she will always be searching for another's light to guide them when their own light is what will bring them the most benefit.

I was told before I came here I was free to explore and learn and do what seemed to call from me deep within my soul but I was given three rules...honor free will, embody integrity in all interactions and look for the love in every situation and encounters to find greater understanding.  At times I did not understand free will and the concept of allowing the choices of others to be as they are even when they create so much pain.  In time I learned that the greatest love you can show another is to let them make their own choices without any interference at all.  To honor these choices exhibits the highest integrity and when you look deeply, you can find the love through understanding the 'rules' so-to-speak.  Upon my realization I was rewarded with a freedom never before known.  Life is beautiful and amazing and wonderful.  It's so good to be here and every single soul in existence is so very beautiful.  We cannot always see that but it's only because we are not privy to each soul's development plan.  So, we judge and manipulate to try to get out of human interactions those things we think are right.  But, we're often wrong, so very wrong.  It's okay and perfect to be wrong.  But learning from our errors, nothing can feel more right!

So, my journey takes a twist and a turn and it is understanding that shines like the light of the sun and the beauty of it like the sea of cerulean blue as it swims through each day.  I pray you have a beautiful day where your free will is honored, your associates impress you with great integrity and that you see and feel the love around you to the point that it brings you the peace of true understanding.

Realizations

I woke up again this morning feeling this energy of softness.  I'm still not entirely certain what it is about the energy that seems to have shifted from the ordinary normal hum to this beautiful soft and muted feeling.  In a word, it is simply beautiful and I think I'd like to make this energy feeling an opportunity.  The opportunity is that from a place of feeling nothing but the soft and gentleness of love, we can consciously create within our worlds.  During such times, we can bring our truest goals into focus and begin to visualize the states and thoughts needed to achieve them.  I have many goals in focus just now but they primarily revolve around a certain theme of lessons that have played on and on over the last seven to ten years of my life.

As I consider those themes and do my best to take hold of the true essence of the lessons, I come back mainly to one concept, standing in my own light.  For so long I did not understand what that meant but thinking back to all of the things I've "put up with" over the last seven to ten years, I think the lesson begins to form more concretely.  For far too long have I made concessions and exceptions, behaving in a way that others would find amenable while feeling this sense of a noose tightening ever and ever slowly around my neck.  As the noose tightens, the farther I go compromising what I wanted and needed to be what others wanted or needed something always seems to snap within me and then in those moments the only thing that I can see, feel or truly want is freedom.  I crave the freedom to be exactly who I am without suffering the judgement of those who find fault in this core-level need of mine because it means I take care of me and stop catering to them.  It's funny how that works.  Some people seem to love you only to the extent you are making them happy and then not one shred of care is given to the fact that in the act of making them happy, you are condemning yourself to periods of much unhappiness for self.

I think when such thoughts enter my consciousness, I begin to realize that the kinds of souls who routinely expect my self-sacrifice over and over again, who will use guilt and shame if I deviate in even the slightest degree - while good souls they may very well be - they are not good souls for me to have in my sphere.  So, I've come to this realization again and again and each time I set myself free and remove these souls from my sphere of existence with a sincere and apologetic good bye.  It seems I have had this knack for finding such souls who routinely mistake my kindness for weakness they can exploit and manipulate for their own gain.  It's almost comical how shocked such souls become when you put your foot down and say, "no more."  I refuse to be your human sacrifice for love, for attention or for any form of gratitude you might rustle up from the depths of your delusions and misinformed psychological existence.  Human beings are not to be manipulated in the name of love and I will continue on my path removing these souls from my sphere where I find them.

I have learned these many years that life is way too short to be miserable for any length of time and so have made a covenant with myself that I will only move in tune with the dictates of my own soul and react not one bit to those souls who either with intent or ignorance attempt any form of manipulation with me.  I refuse to engage in any friendships, relationships or any other form of interaction with such unaware souls.  I find them toxic and vexatious for me to deal with day in and day out.  Free will dictates that I get to decide with whom and how I shall spend my time, my energy and my love and I simply refuse to spend a single moment with an unaware manipulative and toxic soul.  It's sad how many of these individuals are unaware of their actions and their effects on another.  Over and over will I stand tried and judged by such souls and that's just fine with me. I will wish them much love and light as I turn and go.  I love my life and I love me.
